Last month we were invited to host a workshop at Manchester City Council’s annual staff conference.
We delivered a tailor-made (scuse the pun) version of our Textile Waste Lab workshop, where participants learn about the impacts of textile waste, find out where textile waste arises locally, then work together in teams to devise community-based solutions.
We love this workshop because our participants bring up new ideas and solutions every single time. It’s also a great team-building event, with the added bonus that you are helping to put forward solutions that can be put into action in communities, now.
We keep a record of all the ideas put forward and are working on a plan for putting some of them into action – watch this space!
