Come and delve into the fabulous world of natural indigo dyeing with us this Summer!
On July the 8th, we’re giving an introduction to the ancient Japanese dye technique Shibori. Join us for a fun afternoon out in our ‘yarden’ experimenting resist dyeing techniques using beautiful blue natural indigo dye.
You’ll get to experiment with several different resist dyeing techniques, and create a set of samples to take home.
This workshop also serves as an induction for our Open Vaturdays – set days when you can use our workshop space and indigo vat to work on your own projects.
We plan to hold this workshop and the Open Vaturdays regularly over the summer and autumn months, so it’s the perfect time to get involved and turn some stuff blue!
