Stitched Up will be running our infamous Rework It upcycling course, a free to attend 6 week social meet up group; teaching a range of repair, alterations, and upcycling techniques. From creative visible mending to understanding the basic mechanics of a sewing machine – you’ll go away armed with the knowledge and confidence to keep your clothes for longer, and build a wardrobe that works for you.

This course has been made possible thanks to funding from LGBT Foundation, and will be hosted at The Proud Trust starting Thursday 25th April 6-8pm.

Dates of this course will be:

Thursday 25th April 6-8pm

Thursday 2nd May 6-8pm

Thursday 9th May 6-8pm

Thursday 16th May 6-8pm

Thursday 23rd May 6-8pm

Thursday 30th May 6-8pm

This project is designed specifically to support the queer community in Manchester with their self made clothing journey, and we especially welcome trans and non binary folks to apply. Being able to mend, alter, and rework your wardrobe is invaluable to creating a sustainable wardrobe that you love for years to come, while keeping textile waste out of landfill.

Please fill in this Google Form to apply, and spaces will be limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
