Over the past couple of months, we’ve been working with the Chorlton Sea Scouts as they work towards their Community Impact badge. We looked at textile waste together, learning about why it ends up as waste and why this is an issue for the environment. Then, the group came up with ideas for how different fabrics could be reused or repurposed.

These flyer display stands are the final product they created.

They can be used on a table or pinned to a wall or noticeboard. And they fold flat for transport. What do you think??

We also absolutely love the flyers they made too. Excellent work everyone!

Thanks to our volunteers Awurama and Sophia for the photos too.
