1-7th June is Volunteers’ Week, an annual celebration of the contribution volunteers make across the UK. Stitched Up really wouldn’t be the same without our wonderful volunteers, and it’s because of their work that we can continue to take action on sustainable fashion.
In the last year, Volunteers weighed 417 kg of donations… this is the equivalent of 41 bikes, 1668 bananas or over 46 sewing machines.
Volunteers contributed 621 hours to Stitched Up since last May,
and spent 312 hours helping us run events such as Repair Cafes, Clothes Swaps and Workshops
