AND we’ve been organising a marvelous Clothing Swap Shop for you at Airy Fairy Cupcakes Boutique in Didsbury TONIGHT!!
Laura -Queen Airy Fairy will be there with her beautiful cakes & cupcakes for you to purchase or simply oogle, she really is talented!! I think it’s just as well I don’t live around the corner or I might just spend everyday there, you must come down to see her beautiful Cake Boutique!
I wanted to give you a sneaky peak of some of the Prime Pick/SwapShopStunners!! That will be available for you to Swap tonight at Airy Fairy’s. If you have never been to a Swishing Party before then you are missing out! – Especially if you have never been to one of our SwapShops!!
Not only will you be able to pick up some of these lovely clothes, you will also have access to a sewing machine & expert advice on alterations, customisation & styling advice. We are professsional seamstresses, stylists, designers and makers! We are also Eco-Fashionista Revolutionaries with a passion for the environment & our lovely humans in it!! Not only will be have clothes for you to Swap, we will have buttons, trims, embellishements, ribbons & lace for you to browse through & use if you so wish! – We are here to show you how!! AND we will be bringing lots of lovely sewing & fashion books for you to thumb through whilst you nibble on a delicious and lovingly baked cake by Laura! – Now if this doesn’t sound like a heavenly evening, I don’t know what does!!

This is a lovely, very sweet-floaty-sheer blouse, could be worn with jeans , over a bikini, tucked into a pencil skirt at work or with some hotpants! – Again it’s super versatile, it may have a few buttons missing, but with a bit of love, care & advice from the Stitched Up crewe it could be refreshed.

This is a great stripey jumper, knitwear isn’t really my thing but Jacky I’m sure can tell you, I think this looks pretty unisex!! OR Kelly – who I hope is coming down could show you how to revamp it into a “jumper skirt” super cute!! Either way, it’s lovely and there are lots of things you can do with it, turn it into a cushion, Cardi, hair accessory, handbag….ideas are limitless!!
I love this African dress I just need to keep on with the Zumba and then maybe my boobs’ll fit into it;
Now if I’ve remembered correctly, this has been handmade by the gorgeous Ayo, we met her at our first Swap Shop in Whalley Range, a wonderful & talented woman, who I hope you will have the honour of meeting tonight!! – She was raving about our last Swap Shop! She went away with a whole new wardrobe!

This dress is so 60s, I love orange & blue together, I can’t say this photograph does it justice!! I think it would look fab with a new set of candy bright buttons! So you can root through our button tin & see what you can find!!

Anything we don’t Swap will either be Upcycled into new beautiful items, taken to Charity shops or used in our workshops. We all work as freelancers & I’m personally about to take part in a Charity fashion show for WomenMATTA at the Pankhurst Centre. To raise money, for the charity, by teaching & encouraging the women to sew & upcycle. – This is an exciting opportunity so none of these or your clothes will go to waste!
