In 2017 we’re super excited to announce our first ever Stitched Up Summer Club! This August we’ll be taking a group of aspiring young designers on a sustainable fashion journey to remember!
The Summer Club will take place Monday to Friday 31st July – 4th August, at our quirky sewing workshop in Chorlton, South Manchester. The morning session for age 7-10 years runs from 9am – 12pm. The afternoon session for age 10-14 years runs from 1-4pm.
Age 7 – 10 Years – morning session (9am-12)
A week of crafty fun. Using 100% reclaimed materials we will experiment with new techniques, learning some essential sewing skills and trying out a bit of upcycling (turning unwanted old clothes into something amazing!
Each day you will complete a different craft project to take home.
£15 per day, or £65 for the full week

Age 10 – 14 Years – afternoon session (1-4pm)
Perfect for aspiring young fashion designers, a week of textile design and fashion construction. Design and make your own unique, funky textiles from reclaimed fabrics, then use them to create a bag charm and drawstring rucksack to take home! You’ll learn hand and machine sewing skills, as well as various printing and embellishment techniques.
£85 for the week

Our team are fully DBS-checked and insured. There will be a First Aider on site during the sesssions.
