WHAT IS THE WALK IN WARDROBE?

Stitched Up‘s Walk In Wardrobe is an interactive sustainable fashion experience for young people that lifts the lid on fast fashion’s impact on people and planet and encourages visitors to join the call for change.

Stepping through the wardrobe doors, visitors will find a variety of interactive zones where they’ll discover the impacts of clothing on people and the planet, get inspired by local groups and campaigns calling for positive change in the fashion industry, and try out practical alternatives like repair, upcycling, styling and swapping.

The Walk in Wardrobe is here to show that whatever your skill set and interests, you can be part of creating positive change for the fashion industry.

The project has been made possible thanks to a Community Grant from In Our Nature – a climate campaign for Manchester by the charity Hubbub.
