We’ve been the suppliers of textiles for events for over a decade – people come to our yard sales all the time to buy fabric and trims for weddings, parties, and other gatherings. We always love being the place people come to for a unique event at a reasonable price.
However, sometimes you don’t want to have to deal with the textiles after your event. Or, maybe you don’t want to spend your time making metres and metres of bunting that you’ll only use once. What if these could be rented from us? Well, that’s what we’re working on with our Shred Up project. In developing community led solutions to textile waste, we know that textiles for events are a big area of waste for people and businesses who can’t find a home for them after the event.
We want to make this as useful to our community as possible, which is where we’re asking for your help! If you’ve ever purchased or rented textiles for events, either for personal or business use, we really want to hear your thoughts and opinions.
