Community wellbeing service Buzz have just launched a new project to provide face coverings for vulnerable members of the community.
Now that things are beginning to re-open, masks are going to be an essential part of helping to keep everyone safe. Lots of people will find it difficult to get hold of a mask, for financial or other reasons. So this project is much needed.
Buzz are looking for volunteers with sewing skills to make and donate masks.
Could you help?
There are mask-making instructions to use, and a network of local drop-off points to take your completed masks.
We’re delighted to be supporting the project by providing a Chorlton drop-off point on Tuesdays. You can bring your masks to Stitched Up HQ most Tuesdays between 10am-4pm – but please contact us first to check we’re in on hello@stitchedup.coop or 07396532908.
If you can volunteer your skills (thank you!) contact Laura from Buzz, who is co-ordinating the project:

Thanks so much to anyone who is able to volunteer for this project 🙂
