You call it junk we call it jewellery!
We show you how you can use deconstructed accessories to make unique statement pieces.
All materials and equipment will be provided but if you have anything you want to revamp please feel free to bring it along.

EVENT // Meet the Makers evening: ethical fashion on your doorstep!

FREE!Meet the Makers is an event for anybody who loves ethical and handmade fashion and accessories, as well as for practicing and aspiring crafters and makers in Manchester.Over a glass of wine we will introduce some of the designers who create the beautiful clothes-with-a-story on sale at Stitched Up HQ. Hear about their career journey and creative processes.Plus we’ll have design and craft stalls to browse, an art exhibition, and the Stitched Up team will be announcing new exhibition and stocking opportunities at Stitched Up HQ.

WORKSHOP // New to Knitting
Book a one-on-one session with our resident knitter Jacky.
Appointments between 12 – 4pm

WORKSHOP // Fix It Friday
Come and get help fixing your clothes from a Stitched Up tutor – replace buttons and zips, patch holes and darn socks.
2 – 4pm
£5 per half hour of tutor time

WORKSHOP // Upcycled Undies!
Be part of the pants self-sufficiency revolution! With our workshop you need never buy a pair of knickers again.
Learn to make a pair of frilly bikini-style knickers from an old garment or something from your fabric stash.
