Our Learn to Knit Course with Michelle has got us all inspired by the creative possibilities of two sticks and some yarn. Here are some of the team’s fave knitwear heroes.

Lydia Morrow is an amazing knitwear designer/ stylist/creative director/ artist/ fit consultant, who creates these gorgeous knit (and crochet!) designs like the pictured collar, bonnet, and harness. She also designs great jumpers 🧥
Reknit Revolution is a project by designer, maker and researcher Amy Twigger Holroyd, which encourages you to use your knitting skills to rework the knitwear in your wardrobe. There’s great tutorials for turning your jumpers into cardigans, altering the size, and otherwise adding to the longevity of your knitwear.

Ýrúrarí is an incredible knitter and textile artist. “Giving Makeover to one sweater at a time“, she creates these expressive faces with a combination of knitting and felting. Check out the pizza, it’s amazing!
Sam Barsky is an artist and knitter, who makes jumpers of places + things, which he then photographs himself wearing, next to the subject of the jumper. He’s been running this series for years, and you can see the love and care in each piece.
Learn to Knit with Michele is back on 4th May, tickets available now 🧶
