As the eagle-eyed among you will have noticed, we’ve recently had to put our prices up – due to the rising costs of, well… just about everything!

It’s not a decision we’ve taken lightly, especially in the current economic climate when we know that so many people are struggling. Keeping our prices as affordable as possible is super important to us. But in the end we weren’t given a choice – it was raise prices or just stop doing certain things.

We wanted to be transparent about why we’ve had to make this change + where your money goes when you buy a ticket for one of our workshops.

So here’s a price breakdown for our 3-week Learn to Sew course. A ticket is £95 per person.

It’s based on a course being fully-booked, which isn’t always the case. We do have a minimum number of attendees, below which a course can’t go ahead.

As a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society, we don’t have anyone sitting at the top raking off all the profits. Instead, all profits we make are reinvested for community benefit.

Win explains more in this short video.
