We’re delighted to be showing a collection of beautiful banners made by the Fabric of Protest project during their monthly meet ups held online and at People’s History Museum between 2020-2022.
You might recognise them, as they made a very welcome appearance with some of the FoP crew at the #RanaPlaza10NeverAgain demo on Sunday.
The banners are a compilation of patches that were created in response to People’s History Museum’s programme exploring migration, with a focus on the impact of the garment trade on migrant workers globally.
Each square contains so much thought, skill and detail – it’s a truly beautiful project. Don’t miss them if you’re passing by over the next month!
See the banners in our Stretford shop during opening hours, until 25th May.
