We’re delighted to announce a brand new exhibiition in our upstairs window gallery!
Our good friend and volunteer Abi Lake is an interdisciplinary artist based in Manchester. We’re so pleased to present Abi’s Embroidery Hopes exhibition in our gallery window, part of a series of works using everyday objects and textile art to explore themes of sustainability, healing and hope on personal, interpersonal and global scales.

We are all connected. The threads of individual self, community and world are entangled, and it is these intersections that inspire me. How might we create, heal and grow our selves and our world in a truly sustainable way?

Huge thanks to Abi for sharing this beautiful, tender and hopeful work in our gallery window.
Please do pop in and see the exhibition anytime during Stretford Mall opening hours. You’ll find it in the window above Stitched Up – use the stairs by the main entrance to access it, or there’s a lift near Holland and Barret.
If you do visit, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
