Stitched Up & Plastic Shed Present: Taking Action on Sustainable Fashion
Join Stitched Up and Plastic Shed at the Merseyway Workshop for an afternoon of skill sharing and informative activities on the impact the fast fashion industry and the materials used have on our planet.
The first half of our 2.5/3 hour workshop will be a presentation by Stitched Up, following the production line of different materials and revealing the impact they have on the planet and the people that live in it. We’ll also explore the changes we can make to take action on sustainable fashion. Then we’ll see what you’ve learned so far with a quickfire quiz.
After a short break both Stitched Up and Plastic Shed will be back for a workshop sharing their knowledge and skills on how to mend, upcycle and reuse materials.
