Birthday Party // Stitched Up is 10! [Sept 2022]

Stitched Up was started in 2011 by six young women, with the aim of encouraging individuality, pride and sustainability through fashion and style. On 13th September 2012 we made it official and became a registered co-operative.
Though our team has seen some changes since this time, we remain true to the ethos of our founder members – a grassroots collective which grew from our passion for the environment, human-rights, style & creativity.

What’s happening?

This year is our 10th birthday and we want to invite you all to celebrate with us.

Saturday 17th September 12-3pm

This is a FREE drop-in event hosted at our Stretford Mall Pop Up.

• Look around an exhibition of our customers’ creations. Whether it’s learning to sew, mending, upcycling or garments made from scratch, we’re proud to showcase their achievements and the development of their skills over the years.
  
• See some highlights from our work over the past decade.

• Take part in free drop-in workshops: try your hand at fabric printing or put your upcycling and reuse ideas forward in our Textile Waste Lab.

• Be in with the chance to win one of our 10 x £10 gift vouchers to spend on our website. Raffle winners will be announced on the day.

It’s been an exciting 10 years and we can’t wait to celebrate and thank you all for supporting our growth and development over the years. We wouldn’t be here without you!
