On 1st September, Stitched Up delivered a Redo Your Denim workshop to families in Salford, as part of Transport for Greater Manchester’s Pedal Powered Family Fun Day.
This event was to showcase the versatility of cargo bikes for organisations and individuals, after TfGM offered small businesses and community interest groups across Greater Manchester grants towards the purchase of cargo bikes and trailers, which would allow them to replace or significantly reduce their reliance on a motor vehicle.
Stitched Up was able to add a bike trailer and an electric cargo bike to our fleet in 2022 thanks to TfGM. They’ve enabled us to significantly reduce our emissions when we travel to external workshops and events, all year ‘round!
There were loads of great organisations at the event with us, and we were even treated to a performance from a dance group, who gallantly performed in torrential rain!
