Join us on Thursday 24th April for a special event to mark Fashion Revolution Day*:

Meet the Makers evening: ethical fashion on your doorstep!
Thursday 24th April
7 – 10pm
FREE!

Meet the Makers is an event for anybody who loves ethical and handmade fashion and accessories, as well as for practicing and aspiring crafters and makers in Manchester.

Over a glass of wine we will introduce some of the designers who create the beautiful clothes-with-a-story on sale at Stitched Up HQ. Hear about their career journey and creative processes.

Plus we’ll have design and craft stalls to browse, an art exhibition, and the Stitched Up team will be announcing new exhibition and stocking opportunities at Stitched Up HQ.

We hope you’ll join us on the night for a glass of wine and a mingle!

Stall spaces on the night are reserved for makers who are not yet stocked in the shop – please contact us if you’d like to know more.

~ *Why Fashion Revolution Day? ~

We are holding this event to commemorate the disastrous garment factory collapse in Bangladesh a year ago which killed over 1,100 people who sew clothes for the UK high street. Fashion Revolution Day is a global campaign to remember those that lost their lives, but also push for a fairer fashion industry. “Fashion is about relationships and the first Fashion Revolution Day is about reconnecting the relationships of fashion which have broken down need to be reestablished.
We need to become more curious about how our clothes are made and who made them.”

Come and join us at Stitched Up HQ to mark the first Fashion Revolution Day by celebrating the ethical fashion on your doorstep!
