Hand Embroidery with Becky Stevens Stitches [June 2019]
Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm| £25
This workshop is all about upcycling your wardrobe in a simple but effective way! You’ll do this by using fabric stencils that stick to your clothes whilst stitching, then dissolve in water when you’re done. This is a great way to personalise old garments that might need refreshing with some colour and/or patterns!
You will be provided with all the materials you need, from a choice of thread colours to a range of different stencil patterns. If you have a specific pattern in mind, there will be plain stencil fabric to draw onto as well.
Becky is a hand-embroidery artist from Manchester and has several years’ experience in stitching and delivering workshops for all levels. She will be there to guide you on the best stitches to use, tips for using the stencils effectively and help you create your own patterns (if you’d like!)
To have a look at her work, go to her instagram @beckystevensstitches.

*PLEASE NOTE: As a small not-for-profit cooperative, our time and resources are always stretched to the max. In the event that a workshop is at less than 50% capacity, we will need to reschedule it. If this happens, you’ll be given as much notice as possible and your booking can be transferred to a future date or refunded. If you book a space on the workshop and need to cancel, please refer to our cancellation policy. We hope you understand and thank you for your support.
