The #Payup campaign is calling on fashion brands to pay for orders they cancelled during lockdown.

These cancelled orders hae resulted in factory owners being unable to pay their workers, resulting in many being pushed into poverty from an already precarious situation.

You can read more about the impact of the pandemic on garment workers on our blog here.

This week, Primark was the latest brand to (finally) agree to do the right thing and pay for their cancelled clothes orders. This is great news, but there are still several brands which are yet to make this committment. If Primark can do it, why can’t George at ASDA, Peacocks and Topshop?

See the latest list of brands which have and haven’t committed to #PayUp

No doubt these remaining brands think that if they hold out long enough, the noise will die down and they won’t be made to pay. Help to keep up the pressure, and join us this week in tagging these three brands on social media and asking them to #PayUp.

There are some resources below to help you.

And you can also sign the petitions here if you haven’t already.

Feel free to tag us in any posts and we’ll repost them. Let us know how you get on!
