Our hearts are breaking for the people of Afghanistan and we know so many of you feel the same. Here is one (albeit very small) way we can help…Since it was announced that Afghan refugees are imminently arriving into Manchester, the amazing Care4Calais have started coordinating collection of items that they need:
- mens clothing, especially coats and t-shirts
- men’s shoes (trainers ideally, size 4-7 )
- men’s new underwear
- unlocked smartphones with chargers
- toiletries
- tents and sleeping bags
- rucksacks
- food

You can drop donations off with us in Stretford Mall from Thursday to Saturday 12-5pm* – we’re in Unit 40 next door to The Retreat mental health cafe. Drivers can park in the car park behind us – enter via St Matthews Church off Chester Road. If you have any difficulties finding us you can call us on 0161881741.
*Please note that this Saturday 21st Aug we will only be open between 1-3pm.
